Meet Rose

Rose Schneider is the principal and founder of Maison Rose Interiors. Over more than a decade designing residential and light commercial spaces across Orange County, Los Angeles, and beyond, she has built a reputation for projects that balance classical discipline with modern ease — rooms that feel timeless, but never static.

Her eye was shaped by her travels abroad early on. The Amalfi Coast taught her that sun-washed stone, limewash, and unlacquered brass only grow more beautiful with age. Her stays in a historic villa in Lari, in the Tuscan hills, taught her to layer with confidence — linen against rough plaster, a faded rug on a polished floor, a single antique among newer pieces. From the markets of Malta to the bistros of Paris and the seaside terraces of Nice, she has returned to the same lesson again and again: the rooms that matter most are the ones that feel effortless.

She brings all of it home. A Maison Rose project might pair a French country armoire with a custom bouclé sofa, anchor a California great room with an Italian plaster fireplace, or set hand-thrown Mediterranean ceramics against a rug sourced closer to home. The goal is never to recreate Europe in her designs. It is to build spaces that carry the same unselfconscious confidence.

Our Philosophy

We design for how you actually live. Rooms that welcome bare feet and pets on the sofa, and wine glasses on the coffee table. Materials that grow more beautiful with use — honed stone, unlacquered brass, washed linen, hand-knotted wool — arranged with the kind of quiet intention that only reveals itself the longer you stay.

Every project begins with a conversation, not a mood board. Before we source a single piece, we want to know how your mornings unfold, where the light lands at four o'clock, and what you want your home to feel like when the front door closes behind you. It’s all about function, form and is always client centered.

What We Do

Maison Rose Interiors is full-service: concept and space planning, material sourcing, custom furniture design, contractor collaboration, and final install. We work on full-home renovations, ground-up builds, single-room redesigns, and light commercial projects for clients who value the long view.

Our sister brand, Shoppe Maison Rose, is an extension of the same curatorial eye. Every piece in the Shoppe — lighting, rugs, furniture, decor — has been considered for how it would live inside a Maison Rose project. It is, in the most literal sense, our sourcing book made public.
